Questions about Slack

What does SalahBreak change in Slack?
During a prayer break it can mute your notifications and update your status (for example with a mosque emoji and a short “prayer time” message). When the break ends, it restores your previous status and notification settings.
What permissions do you need?
Only the scopes required to manage your status and notification pause for prayer breaks. We don't read your private messages or post in channels on your behalf for this feature.
Is Slack integration free?
Yes. Connecting Slack and using prayer-break mute and status is free, with no ads.
Do I still need a calendar?
Slack follows your SalahBreak prayer schedule (based on your city and settings). Connecting Google, Apple, or Outlook is optional and complementary — calendar blocking and Slack presence can work together.
How do I disconnect?
From your SalahBreak dashboard you can disconnect Slack at any time. You can also remove the app from your Slack workspace settings.
